9 steps, as I run them for every client, from reading your website to the report you get before each phase. Beside each step is the thing it makes, here for an invented plumbing firm, so you can see exactly what you would get.
An illustration. Firms, towns and numbers are invented.
01
Step 1: Your site, read page by page.
Before anything is planned, I go through your website myself: every page, the jobs you do, the towns you name, your license and your reviews as you publish them.
What already works stays. What is missing comes back with its fix written beside it.
Your part Send me your website address.

Example An invented firm's website, read the way yours will be.
02
Step 2: The towns and jobs worth winning.
I search from inside each town you serve, the way your customers do, and count what the businesses around you have already built there.
Towns are ranked by who actually buys: homes owned rather than rented, and the drive from your shop. Your library is your jobs crossed with those towns.
Your part Tell me the towns you serve and the jobs you want more of.
Worth winning now: 9 townsLeft for later: Larkhaven, Southmere, Elmstead (mostly rented, or a long drive)12 jobs x 9 towns = 108 pages
03
Step 3: The plan names every page.
Your plan lists every page, phase by phase, and times each one to your seasons: drains before the rains, furnaces before the first frost.
Each phase is a month, usually 25 to 45 pages, and every page in it is named before it begins.
Your part Read the list, and change anything before its phase starts.

Phase 3September, 27 pagesGas line installation, Water softeners, Emergency plumbing
Phase 4October, 27 pagesBurst pipe repair, Leak detection, Sump pumpsTimed before the rains and the first freeze
Example Every page of an invented firm's first phase, by name.
04
Step 4: The research behind one page.
Every page is about one job in one town, and it is written around what is true there: the homes, the season, the permit, the drive from your shop, the going price, and what the businesses around you have already put up.
Read the page and you know the town.
Your part Check the facts about your own business, like your prices and your warranty.
The homes 1960s ranch homes: most tanks sit in the attached garage
The season Tanks give out most in the first cold weeks
The permit The city wants a permit for every gas water heater
The drive 12 minutes from the shop on Route 9
The price Tank installs from $1,450, tankless from $3,200
What is already there 2 of the 9 plumbers serving Calder Heights have a page for this search
Example A printer's proof of an invented firm's page. Example photos.
05
Step 5: Written and designed in your brand.
Your logo, your colors, your job photos, your license and your reviews as you publish them.
Every page is written for the people who search it, and designed so a customer who lands on it knows it is yours.
Your part Send your logo and your best job photos.
Example 3 invented firms, each page in its own brand. Example photos.
06
Step 6: You approve every page.
Every page reaches you first on a private preview link, hidden from Google. Read it on your phone, ask for any change, and say yes when it is right.
Your pages go live on your website or on a subdomain of it, whichever suits your platform, and every address you already have keeps working or is redirected.
Each page is fast on a phone, puts your number on a tap-to-call button, and carries a quote form that tags every enquiry with its page and town and sends it straight to you.
Your part Give us access as a user. You stay the owner of every account.
Example Nothing was sent. This is the email Halvard Plumbing & Heat would get.

Our tank in the garage is leaking at the bottom. It is about 12 years old. Can someone come this week?
Example The page live in a phone, and the email its quote form sends. Example photos.

Step 8: Your report, from your own Search Console.
Before each phase you get the full picture: what is live, what Google has taken in, the searches each page shows up for, the clicks, and the enquiries by page and town.
The numbers come from your own accounts, so you can check every one.
Your part Read it, and ask me about anything on it.
09
Step 9: Kept climbing after the build.
After the build, $500 a month keeps your library refreshed and climbing: rewrites from real data, seasonal pages re-timed, and a report every month.
SEO needs regular, ongoing work, and once a page ranks it can keep bringing you that search for months and years.
Your part Tell me when you add a service or a town.
Rev. 1, JulBuilt, approved and live on the firm's own site.
Rev. 2, OctRe-timed before the first freeze: the season leads the page.
Rev. 3, JanRewritten from 3 months of searches: 2 new questions answered.
Rev. 4, MarLinked to a new page as the firm adds water softeners.
Example One page of an invented firm, kept up month by month.
See 2 of your own pages first.
Tell me your website and the towns you serve, and within one business day I will send you 2 of your real pages, researched and designed from your own site, before you pay anything.
