01 Who we are
localingo.io is published by Markingo ("we"), a business registered in British Columbia and based in Vancouver, Canada. Localingo is a Markingo service. By using the site you agree to these terms.
02 What these terms cover
These terms cover your use of this website. Paid work for a client runs under its own written agreement, signed by both of us, which sets out its pages, its phases, its figures and who owns what.
Nothing on this site is itself an offer of a contract, and visiting it does not make you a client.
03 The rates on this site
The rates on this site are how we charge. The pages, the phases and the figures of any engagement are set in its written agreement, in your own currency, USD or CAD.
04 The examples
Every example business on this site, with its towns, phone numbers, pages, reports and enquiries, is invented to show how the work is built. Its phone numbers are in the 555-01xx range kept for fiction, and its photos are illustrations, not real jobs.
05 Using the site
Use the site to learn about our work and to ask for your 2 pages. Please do not try to break into it, overload it or copy it wholesale. Linking to it and quoting it with credit are welcome.
06 Our work and our marks
The words, the drawings, the example pages and the Localingo name and mark on this site belong to Markingo. Pages we build for a client belong to that client from day 1, as their agreement sets out.
07 What you send us
When you write to us you keep what you send. You let us use it to answer you and to make your 2 pages.
08 The site as it is
We provide the site as it is and as available. We work to keep it accurate and online, and where the law allows, we make no other promise about it.
09 Liability
Where the law allows, Markingo is not liable for indirect or consequential losses from using this site, and our total liability for anything to do with it is limited to 100 Canadian dollars. This does not limit any right that the law where you live does not let us limit.
10 The law
These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the laws of Canada that apply there, and any dispute goes to the courts in Vancouver, British Columbia. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the consumer law where you live.
11 Changes
When these terms change, this page changes first, with a new date at the top.
